Saskatchewan Firearm Regulations
The use of firearms for hunting is regulated by provincial legislation. In Saskatchewan, The Wildlife Act, 1998 which provides for the management, conservation and protection of wildlife resources through the issuance and revocation of licences, the prosecution of wildlife offences and the establishment of annual hunting seasons, also outlines the regulations and prohibitions of firearms use while hunting.
Be aware
All hunters should also be aware of federal laws surrounding the acquisition, possession, transportation and use of weapons and ammunition.
