British Columbia Hunt Locations
Check out the DUC projects in your area on the maps below!
We are pleased to provide you with a sampling of DUC’s projects in the British Columbia Region. While these properties may not always be the best hunting locations, they are an excellent starting point to find those special locations with the help of good scouting and good landowner contacts and relationships.1
ALL DUC owned properties are open to public access for multiple activities, including hunting. There are signs indicating foot access only, no fires/overnight camping.
You agree that when on DUC property or other property listed on this site, you do so at your own risk. You also agree to waive any right of action against DUC for any injuries or loss you might have when on DUC property or other property listed on this site.
Please note that not all DUC projects are the sole property of DUC, therefore, one should not access any DUC project (not listed on this map) unless they have received specific permission from DUC and/or the landowner of the land where the project if found.
All hunters should be aware of federal laws surrounding the acquisition, possession, transportation and use of weapons and ammunition. For further information contact your local police service or the Canadian Firearms Centre at 1-800-731-4000 or visit the Centre’s website at http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca/. Always consult the provincial hunting regulations before any trip a field. They can be found under the individual provincial listing (also found on this site).
When hunting on a DUC project, please note the following:
- DUC property can be accessed by foot only (unless specifically authorized by DUC).
- When accessing the DUC land, look for the DUC signs with “foot access only”. While access permits are not required on DUC properties, it is important that you notify DUC at (604) 592-0987 to confirm your name, address, contact info, location you plan to hunt and dates you plan to be in the field.
- Access permits will be required for all properties which post “No Hunting or Trespassing” as you may be asked for these by a conservation officer.
1Field hunting is generally not an option as the land has been converted to grass, so these are generally over water hunting sites.
