Wetlands for Tomorrow

Wetlands for TomorrowIt is clear that wetlands play a vital role in the health of our watersheds and are critical to the well-being of our environment. In fact, Canada’s wetlands and grasslands have traditionally produced more than half of North America’s waterfowl and play a crucial role in sustaining many other wildlife populations. But sadly, in settled areas of Canada up to 70 per cent of wetlands are now gone so the need to conserve Canada’s wetlands has never been greater.

As Canada’s most trusted and respected wetland conservation organization (Ipsos Reid Survey), DUC’s wetland conservation vision is clear and we are equipped to make it a reality. Our Wetlands for Tomorrow fundraising campaign will help raise the dollars necessary to achieve that vision.

Wetlands for Tomorrow:

  • Is the largest conservation fundraising campaign in North American history.
  • Spans three countries as DUC works alongside Ducks Unlimited Inc. and Ducks Unlimited Mexico to meet our continental conservation goals.
  • Is aiming to raise $500 million in Canada by 2011.

We can stem the tide of wetland loss, but we need your help to do it. Your support and investment today can help save our wetlands for tomorrow. Donate today.
